Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Tangier is the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, you’ll be  transferred to your hotel and greeted . Take the afternoon to explore the Kasbah, stroll along the Corniche, and enjoy the eclectic vibe of this once bohemian haven for artists and writers.

Highlights: Tangier Medina, Kasbah Museum, Café Hafa

Overnight: Tangier

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

Leave Chefchaouen behind and step back in time at Volubilis, a sprawling Roman site with preserved mosaics and olive presses. Stop in the imperial city of Meknes for lunch and a short visit before continuing to Fes, Morocco’s cultural soul.

Highlights: Volubilis ruins, Bab Mansour gate, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail

Overnight: Fes

Day 3: Fes City Tour

Embark on a guided walking tour of Fes el-Bali, the medieval walled city that feels like a living museum. Watch artisans at work, hear the call to prayer echo through narrow alleys, and witness traditions passed down for generations.

Day 5: Fes _ Ifrane _ Midelt _ Ziz Valley _ Erfoud→ Merzouga

Begin your descent toward the Sahara. Pass through Ifrane, a Swiss-style town in the Middle Atlas, then see wild Barbary macaques in Azrou’s cedar forests. As the terrain transforms into desert, enter the golden Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga.

Day 6: Explore Merzouga – Desert Heartbeat

Spend the morning visiting nomadic families, learning about traditional desert life. In the afternoon, ride a camel into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive at a luxury desert camp just in time for sunset, followed by dinner under the stars and Berber music around the fire.

Overnight: Sahara Desert Camp

Day 7: Merzouga →Erfoud→ Todra Gorge → Dades Valley

Catch the sunrise from the sand dunes before heading west. Stop in Rissani’s market, then marvel at the sheer cliffs of Todra Gorge. Continue through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley, where dramatic rock formations line the road.

Highlights: Fossil workshops, Todra Gorge hike, Monkey Fingers rock formations

Overnight: Dades Gorge

Day 8: Dades valley – Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech

Day 9: Marrakech – Full guided City Tour

Follow the scenic road through the Rose Valley and visit traditional Berber villages. In Skoura, explore palm groves and the historic Kasbah Amridil. Continue to Ouarzazate, the film capital of Morocco.A short drive brings you to Aït Ben Haddou, a spectacular mudbrick ksar and UNESCO site used in countless films. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech, the Red City full of color, charm, and energy.

Highlights: Rose distillery, Amridil Kasbah, Ouarzazate film studios, Aït Ben Haddou, panoramic mountain viewpoints, arrival in Marrakech.

Overnight: Marrakech

Marrakesh is going to be the focus of a fully guided trip. The so-called “Red City.” Marrakesh is the most important former imperial city in Moroccan history. It is close to Atlas Mountain’s snow-capped foothills. Further, Marrakech has an older fortified city as do many of the older cities. The Medina and Gueliz, a contemporary city constructed during French rule. Marrakesh has Morocco’s largest souk (traditional market). It also boasts Djemaa el Fna, one of the busiest squares in the continent of Africa and the entire globe. On one hand, there are several storytellers, snake charmers, water vendors, dancers, and musicians in the square. On the other hand, the square transforms into a sizable open-air dining area at night.

We’ll see the Koutoubia Mosque during our stay. Constructed during the Almoravid Dynasty’s rule in the 12th century. Finally, in an ancient town, we will go through alleys and narrow streets.

Overnight: Marrakech

Day 10: Essaouira – Tangier

Transportation to Marrakech or Casablanca airports. Finishing up our services the end of our Morocco holidays 10 days from Tanger to Marrakech.
